Operations Coordinator

About the role

Evonik (SEA) Pte. Ltd. is looking for an Operations Coordinator to support the plant operations team. The role covers compliance and safety support, reporting, training coordination and general administrative assistance within the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Support EHS-related compliance activities, including government licensing and permitting, mask fit testing, plant waste disposal tracking and utilities consumption data.
• Manage first aid, in-place protection, pandemic preparedness supplies, personnel protection equipment, walkie-talkies and their regulatory requirements.
• Support compiling data from daily production batch reports and provide support for work order maintenance and warehousing documentation.
• Support plant purchase requisites and assist the plant management team in regulatory, integrated management system and corporate audits.
• Compile operational and fulfilment information into a weekly report and prepare monthly and quarterly reports.
• Support plant training activities with heads of departments, maintain training records in files and a shared folder, and perform other assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum GCE O Level with 3 to 5 years of related experience.
• Diploma in Chemistry or Chemical Technology is an added advantage.
• Good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Computer literacy in MS Office.
