Operations Management Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an Operations Management Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations in Singapore. You will be responsible for delivering safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale (SQDCM) targets while supporting business growth and new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and monitor production metrics, budgets and plant capacity, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Plan and control project schedules, timelines and resource utilization to minimize costs and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Lead, mentor and develop a diverse team of managers, engineers, supervisors and technicians.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives, Lean, 5S and quality programs to improve cycle time, efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate with senior management and cross‑functional stakeholders on NPI, product transitions and manufacturing readiness.

Required profile

• 15+ years of manufacturing or operations leadership experience, including management of managers.
• Proven track record of operational excellence in semiconductor, electronics or high‑tech environments.
• Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Experience with safety, quality, regulatory and environmental compliance.
