Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead and optimise daily activities across Nexus Kitchen’s island‑wide operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency and high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Lead day‑to‑day operations, guiding the operations team to achieve strategic goals.
• Ensure organizational processes comply with legal regulations and industry standards.
• Uphold and enforce health and safety guidelines across all operational activities.
• Monitor employee and team performance, providing coaching, training and constructive feedback.
• Manage budgets, forecast financial needs and allocate resources effectively.
• Collaborate cross‑departmentally to align operational activities with company goals.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Optimize business travel processes, securing corporate rates and automating expense reports.
• Implement quality assurance measures, monitoring production KPIs to maintain standards.
• Enhance customer service quality to improve satisfaction and loyalty.
• Analyse operational data to identify process improvements and cost savings.
• Manage supply chain processes including inventory, production, sales and sourcing.
• Optimize workflows and processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Oversee staffing plans, recruitment and training to build a capable operations team.
• Report regularly on operational efficiency and quality standards to senior management.
• Foster innovation and productivity by facilitating effective communication across teams.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve operations.
• Integrate new technologies and business processes to enhance operational performance.
• Develop and lead conflict‑resolution programs to manage workplace conflicts effectively.
