Operations Project Analyst

About the role

Eastspring, a global asset manager with Asia at its core, is hiring an Operations Project Analyst. The role covers requirements gathering, solution validation, UAT support, training of service providers and implementation support, and can act as project manager for smaller projects.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit and validate requirements from SMEs and stakeholders, collaborate with service providers on impact assessments and obtain formal sign-off on requirement documentation
• Analyse reporting and migration data, redesign processes for scalability, identify business risks and support UAT test scripts and testing
• Train service providers where needed, document and agree new procedures, and work with the Architecture team on solution design
• Support change management, implementation testing, troubleshooting and reporting, and contribute to project management processes; act as project manager for smaller projects

Required profile

• Degree level or higher
• 5-10 years of financial services business analyst experience (asset management desirable)
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Advantageous: experience in banking, insurance and asset management, familiarity with Asian markets and regulations, and experience with BlackRock Aladdin or FactSet

Required skills

• Business analyst tools and techniques: requirements capture, stakeholder analysis, use cases, prototyping and traceability
• Project management methodologies and frameworks
• Domain knowledge: data management, post-trade middle office, collateral management, reporting and performance attribution, buy-side trade life cycle, and regulatory trade reporting (e.g. ASIC, HKMA, MAS, EMIR)
