Pandemic PPE Strategy Consultant – Reusable Gown Program

About the role

We are seeking an experienced consultant to lead a strategic evaluation of reusable gown deployment for Singapore’s pandemic PPE readiness. The role will coordinate healthcare institutions, infection‑prevention experts, supply‑chain partners and government agencies to develop evidence‑based recommendations for a national reusable gown framework.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall project planning and execution, develop timelines and governance, coordinate cross‑functional workstreams, manage risks and provide executive updates.
• Partner with infection‑prevention experts to evaluate clinical and regulatory requirements and assess reusable gown technologies.
• Assess end‑to‑end operational feasibility including procurement, inventory, logistics, laundry, sterilisation, quality assurance and surge capacity.
• Evaluate laundry and reprocessing capabilities, turnaround times, capacity during surges and tracking requirements.
• Develop business cases, lifecycle cost models and scenario analyses comparing reusable, disposable and hybrid stockpile strategies.
• Conduct sustainability and ESG assessments covering carbon footprint, waste reduction, water and energy consumption.
• Design and oversee pilot programmes, define success criteria, collect clinical and user feedback and evaluate outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in healthcare consulting, infection‑prevention, operations or management consulting, preferably within Singapore’s healthcare system.
• Strong understanding of clinical requirements, PPE regulations and supply‑chain dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑stakeholder projects and communicate with senior government and hospital officials.
• Experience in financial modelling, business case development and sustainability assessments.
