Paralegal – Construction (Singapore)

About the role

We are seeking a Paralegal to join our Projects & Construction team in Singapore. The role supports lawyers with document production, legal research and knowledge‑management tasks for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal and market research across contentious and non‑contentious practice areas.
• Assist lawyers and secretaries with matter coordination, filings, hearing preparation and business development.
• Perform large‑scale document reviews and proof‑reading.
• Prepare chronologies, hearing bundles, document indexes, summaries and other case‑management materials.
• Monitor updates and assist with court and tribunal filings on eLitigation and related platforms.
• Support document production, including scanning, e‑discovery, electronic bundling and binding large volumes of correspondence.
• Contribute to internal knowledge‑management initiatives, maintain precedents and matter databases, and administer subscriptions to legal and market information.

Required profile

• Educated to Diploma in Law level or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities under tight timelines.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivated with proven initiative; able to work independently or collaboratively.
• Strong research, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Prior experience with construction and infrastructure work and familiarity with the Security of Payment Act (SOPA) regime is desirable but not essential.
