Paralegal – Liability Defence (1-2 years experience)

About the role

Kennedys is seeking a motivated Paralegal to join its Liability Defence team in Singapore. This role offers the chance to work on motor insurance, work injury and public liability claims within a fast‑growing international law firm.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior lawyers in managing motor insurance, work injury and public liability litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, statements and other court documents.
• Liaise with clients, insurers and third‑party advisers to gather evidence and information.
• Maintain case files, track deadlines and ensure compliance with procedural requirements.
• Support the team in preparing for hearings, mediations and settlements.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance or liability claims.
• Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage own workload.
• Excellent attention to detail and a collaborative, authentic team attitude.
• Asian language skills are an advantage but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Legal research proficiency.
