Part-Time High School Mathematics Teacher

About the role

UWCSEA East is seeking a part‑time teacher to deliver high‑school mathematics from Grade 9 to Grade 12 starting August 2026. The role involves teaching the full IB Diploma Mathematics suite as well as the school’s concept‑based curriculum for lower grades.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging mathematics lessons that challenge and support diverse learners.
• Apply UWCSEA Learning Principles to create effective learning experiences.
• Develop and use assessments that promote ongoing learning and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain strong classroom management, addressing academic, social and emotional dimensions.
• Communicate proactively with parents about student progress.
• Contribute to the collaborative culture of the Mathematics and wider High School teams.

Required profile

• A good degree in Mathematics or a closely related discipline.
• An internationally recognised teaching qualification or certification.
• Residency in Singapore and availability from August 2026.
• Experience in curriculum development and IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) mathematics teaching.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the IB Diploma Mathematics curriculum.
• Familiarity with concept‑based teaching approaches.
