Part-Time Lecturer – 3D Production (DT2001)

About the role

The School of Art, Design and Media at Nanyang Technological University seeks a part‑time lecturer to deliver the undergraduate course DT2001 3D Production starting August 2026. The role involves teaching fundamental 3D modelling and animation using Autodesk Maya, guiding students through industry‑standard workflows and assessing their progress.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials and practical sessions for DT2001 3D Production.
• Prepare course materials, assignments and assessment criteria.
• Provide feedback and evaluate student work throughout the semester.
• Stay updated with current 3D production techniques and software.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Animation, 3D Production or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated record of professional production or creative practice in media.
• Previous undergraduate teaching experience is preferred.
• Exceptional candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Animation and substantial industry experience may also be considered.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Autodesk Maya for 3D modelling, character design, animation and rendering.
