About the role
The School of Social Sciences at NTU seeks part‑time lecturers to teach Ethics and Civics to undergraduate students. The role involves delivering tutorials, assessing student work, and supporting the course coordinator.
Key responsibilities
- Attend online lectures.
- Conduct tutorials and assessments for the assigned course.
- Grade assignments, quizzes, tests and exam scripts.
- Respond to student queries in collaboration with the course coordinator.
Required profile
- A degree in social sciences, preferably with a specialization in political science or sociology.
- Good knowledge of Singapore’s political and social context (advantageous).
- Demonstrated ability to teach topics such as human rights, meritocracy, political systems, multiculturalism, freedom of speech, and gender diversity at the undergraduate level (advantageous).
- Availability to tutor/lecture during designated office hours.
