Part-Time Lecturer – Geography & Urban Studies

About the role

The School of Social Sciences at NTU seeks part‑time lecturers to deliver undergraduate courses within the Minor in Geography and Urban Studies. You will guide students through topics such as human geography, urban dynamics, post‑colonial spatial theory, and the geography of gender, sexuality, and work.

Key responsibilities

• Propose and/or teach new or existing courses in the Minor.
• Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials.
• Design, administer, and grade assessments and examinations.
• Provide timely feedback and support to students.
• Participate in other teaching‑related duties as required.

Required profile

• PhD in a social‑science discipline.
• At least 1–2 years of tertiary‑level teaching experience with strong evaluation scores.
• Preference given to Singapore citizens or permanent residents.
