Part-Time Lecturer – Power System Operation & Planning

About the role

The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University seeks a part‑time lecturer to deliver the postgraduate course EE6510 – Power System Operation & Planning. The 13‑week module begins in October 2024 and forms part of the NTU EEE MSc Power Engineering programme.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures covering power system planning and operation topics.
• Develop teaching materials, case studies and assessment items.
• Guide and evaluate student projects and examinations.
• Maintain course schedule and coordinate with programme staff.

Required profile

• Extensive industry experience in power engineering or a PhD in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with a power‑engineering research focus.
• Passion for teaching and ability to engage postgraduate students.
• Prior teaching experience at the postgraduate level is preferred.
