Part-Time Linguistics Tutor (LMS Programme)

About the role
The School of Humanities at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is seeking part‑time tutors for its Linguistics and Multilingual Studies (LMS) programme. Tutors will support undergraduate teaching of core linguistics modules and will lecture during scheduled office‑hour sessions.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and tutorials for core LMS courses, including Introductory Linguistics, Phonetics and Phonology, Structure of English, Morphology and Syntax, Semantics and Pragmatics, Sociolinguistics, and Bilingualism & Multilingualism.
- Prepare teaching materials, assignments and assessments aligned with the curriculum.
- Provide academic guidance and feedback to students during office‑hour sessions.
- Collaborate with programme coordinators to ensure course objectives are met.
Required profile
- At least a Master of Arts in Linguistics.
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience is an advantage.
- Availability to teach/lecture during designated office‑hour periods.
Required skills
- Subject‑matter expertise in linguistics and multilingual studies.
