About the role

IKEA Tampines is hiring a part-time Sales Associate for its Home Furnishing department. Reporting to the Shopkeeper of the department, you will work closely with permanent Sales Associates to provide excellent sales service, meet IKEA's basic merchandising standards and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

Assess customers' needs and provide information and assistance when required to keep customers satisfied
Keep the department clean and tidy, with items properly displayed, priced and fully stocked
Prioritise top-selling and prioritised products to maximise sales
Support all sales mechanisms and activities organised by the department and the store

Required profile

Customer-service oriented and passionate about driving business
Problem-solver, independent worker and strong team player
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Physically fit to handle physical work and retail hours
Passion for home furnishing and home details
Able to commit to rotating shift work, including weekends and public holidays
