Part‑Time Locum Pharmacist – Flexible Monthly Visits

About the role

This part‑time locum pharmacist position provides professional oversight of pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with Singapore's Health Sciences Authority (HSA) regulations. The role is non‑exclusive, allowing the pharmacist to maintain other primary employment while performing scheduled on‑site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Provide regulatory oversight in line with the Poisons Act and Misuse of Drugs Act.
• Support Controlled Drugs Licence compliance, including record‑keeping, storage, and accountability.
• Review and verify controlled drug registers and inventory records during visits.
• Advise the company on compliance matters and best practices.
• Perform periodic on‑site visits (typically once a month or less) and be available for pharmacy‑related consultations.
• Assist with audits, inspections, or regulatory queries from HSA as needed.
• Endorse or review controlled drug documentation and highlight any compliance gaps.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council (SPC).
• Valid practising certificate.
• Ability to work independently and manage flexible visit schedules.
