Pastry Chef de Partie – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The St. Regis Singapore is seeking a motivated Pastry Chef de Partie to join its renowned culinary team. You will work in a high‑end hotel environment, preparing and presenting a variety of baked goods and desserts to the hotel’s exacting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook pastries according to recipes, ensuring quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Portion, chop, store, and organize ingredients for efficient kitchen workflow.
• Operate baking equipment, measuring tools, and kitchen appliances safely and accurately.
• Follow food safety and hygiene policies, monitor temperatures, and report any issues.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work station, including set‑up and break‑down procedures.
• Monitor food quality throughout the shift and adjust as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and professional appearance standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related pastry or culinary experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 25 lb and work on varied surfaces.
• Willingness to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
