About the role
The St. Regis Singapore is seeking a motivated Pastry Chef de Partie to join its renowned culinary team. You will work in a high‑end hotel environment, preparing and presenting a variety of baked goods and desserts to the hotel’s exacting standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pastries according to recipes, ensuring quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Portion, chop, store, and organize ingredients for efficient kitchen workflow.
- Operate baking equipment, measuring tools, and kitchen appliances safely and accurately.
- Follow food safety and hygiene policies, monitor temperatures, and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work station, including set‑up and break‑down procedures.
- Monitor food quality throughout the shift and adjust as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and professional appearance standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Less than one year of related pastry or culinary experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 25 lb and work on varied surfaces.
- Willingness to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
Required skills
- Baking and pastry preparation.
- Food preparation and ingredient handling.
- Food safety and hygiene compliance.
- Operation of kitchen equipment and appliances.
