Perfumer – Fragrance Development (Singapore)

About the role

Cosmo International Fragrances (Asia) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a creative and technically minded Perfumer to join its Singapore fragrance team. The role involves creating, evaluating and delivering fragrance solutions for fine fragrance, home care, personal care and laundry care markets worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Create, modify, and optimize fragrance formulations according to briefs, cost targets, regulatory requirements and olfactive direction.
• Troubleshoot formulation, stability, compatibility and performance issues.
• Explore new raw materials, market trends and fragrance concepts to drive innovation.
• Evaluate fragrance submissions, trials and benchmark products, recommending technical improvements.
• Maintain fragrance library knowledge and identify suitable directions for projects.
• Support daily laboratory workflow, compounding, inventory management and equipment maintenance.
• Conduct olfactive quality checks on raw materials and finished fragrances, investigating quality issues.
• Coordinate fragrance projects from request to final submission, managing timelines and documentation.
• Communicate project updates, technical information and shipment status to Singapore customers.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, production, purchasing, international perfumers and global evaluation teams.
• Monitor market products, benchmarks and trends, participating in trade shows and consumer testing.

Required profile

• Creative and technically minded professional.
• Proven experience in fragrance creation, evaluation and project delivery across multiple product categories.
• Ability to translate customer briefs into high‑performing fragrance solutions.
