About the role
The pharmacist will join a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support patients with acute and chronic conditions, ensuring safe and effective medication use. This position involves direct patient interaction, clinical decision‑making, and participation in research and quality improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in inpatient clinical rounds and medication reconciliation.
- Dispense medications and provide counseling on treatment plans.
- Identify and resolve drug‑related problems, recommending appropriate therapy.
- Communicate accurate drug information to healthcare professionals and the public.
- Deliver education sessions for patients, students, and fellow staff.
- Contribute to research projects and quality improvement activities within the pharmacy department.
Required profile
- Degree in Pharmacy.
- Eligible for registration with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
- Strong listening and communication abilities.
- Enjoys interacting with individuals at all levels.
