Planning and Control Planner

About the role

Applied Materials seeks a Planning and Control Planner to manage production, inventory, and process control activities, ensuring material availability and accurate MRP execution for semiconductor manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain SAP work order release schedule and perform pre‑shortage analysis to increase component availability.
• Review MRP execution, reconcile supply and demand, and validate master scheduling.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders, prepare status reports, and participate in floor audits.
• Analyze inventory usage, forecast spare parts needs, and handle obsolete inventory.
• Lead data analysis projects, create visualizations with Tableau, and perform ad‑hoc statistical analysis using Python or SQL.

Required profile

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in planning and control disciplines.
• Acts as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues and can lead small projects.
• Solves complex problems using judgment and analysis of multiple information sources.
