Platform Program Manager

About the role

GlobalFoundries, a full-service semiconductor foundry, is looking for a Platform Program Manager to lead the 55BCDL platform end to end. The role aligns plans across teams such as development, enablement, reliability, product management and sales, interfaces with customers and drives adherence to plans so that the program succeeds.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and manage internal technical programs from initiation through completion, and manage the overall platform from project inception to product delivery.
• Lead cross-functional project and program teams from design to delivery of fully developed products.
• Report overall platform performance to senior management and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions when needed.
• Investigate problems during design and planning phases and develop solutions.
• Drive stakeholders to identify product and program gaps, define product requirements and engage customers to communicate program status and confirm requirements.
• Perform all activities safely and responsibly, supporting Environmental, Health, Safety and Security requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 12 years in semiconductor IP, product or process development.
• At least 8 years in a program management or technical project management role managing multiple programs to closure.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in power-related processes or products.
• Background in customer engagements.

Required skills

• Demonstrated skills with recognized program management tools.
• Ability to manage complex projects across multiple disciplines and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle shifting priorities.
• Good communication with all levels of the organization, including external constituencies, and experience in a global matrixed team.
