About the role

The Preschool Principal will lead an early childhood centre, ensuring high‑quality education, holistic development, and a safe environment for children. This role combines strategic leadership with day‑to‑day operational oversight across multiple islandwide locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of teachers to deliver quality early childhood programmes.
• Set strategic direction, establish policies, and drive continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, addressing concerns promptly.
• Manage all ECDA‑related licensing and compliance matters.
• Review and enhance existing policies, procedures, and programmes.
• Ensure daily operations meet licensing and regulatory standards.
• Mentor teachers to improve instructional and evaluation practices.
• Oversee centre administration, enrolment, and resource optimisation.
• Prepare and control the centre’s budget.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education – Leadership or equivalent ECDA‑recognised certification.
• 1‑2 years of experience as a Preschool Principal or similar leadership role.
