Principal Engineer Process Engineering (CMP)

About the role

Giga Fab, part of GlobalFoundries, is looking for an experienced CMP Process Engineer to join its starting 300mm Advanced Packaging Center in Singapore and the Unit Module Development team. The role helps achieve the key milestones of the new center.

Key responsibilities

• Create, analyze and review technical charts
• Develop and modify process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards
• Establish SOPs (standard operating procedures) and FMEAs (failure mode and effects analyses) for related processes
• Review product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods, determining costs and schedules
• Integrate equipment and material capabilities to meet process module and technology specifications
• Drive continuous improvement plans to improve process performance indices
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver organizational goals
• Perform all work safely and responsibly, supporting environmental, health, safety and security requirements
• Collaborate on other projects and assignments as needed

Required profile

• Degree or Master's degree in an engineering or science-related field
• 5 to 7 years of experience in the electrical/electronics industry
