Process Engineer

About the role

Chevron Oronite is accepting online applications for a Process Engineer based on Jurong Island, Singapore, until 31 October 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (SGT). The selected candidate will work in the Singapore plant under the local payroll system and benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Support operations in process troubleshooting and process improvements to improve plant reliability and increase plant capacity
• Coordinate and participate in HAZOP studies to manage process safety in the plant
• Develop process improvement proposals for project implementation and execution
• Perform plant trials for process improvements and for raw material qualification
• Initiate and manage capital projects
• Perform basic Process Engineering Design
• Monitor process trends and product quality to ensure product quality conformance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Up to 10 years of relevant work experience in the refinery, petrochemical or chemical industry
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and across functional groups

Required skills

• Knowledge of Process Design and Engineering
• Familiarity with ASME and API codes and standards
• Knowledge of HAZOP, Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and engineering tools
