Process Integration and Yield Technician

About the role

The Process Integration & Yield Technician supports the Process Integration Engineering (PIE) team by performing operational tasks that contribute to manufacturing process stability and yield improvement. The role covers data collection, basic analysis, documentation support, material disposition, product qualifications and partnering with engineers to investigate production issues and process variability.

Key responsibilities

• Collect production data to support variability reduction and process improvement, and perform routine data checks and basic analysis using methods or templates provided by engineering
• Support yield ramp and quality monitoring by preparing data sets and reviewing them for abnormalities
• Support production issue investigations by gathering information, running predefined tests and consolidating results for engineering review
• Partner with process, test, product and quality teams, and prepare data or checklists
• Assist in defense line enhancement and process variability reduction activities, feeding observations and measurements back to engineers
• Organize analysis results and documentation with clear next steps, maintain accurate logs and records, and integrate AI-assisted tools into daily work

Required profile

• Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma or equivalent technical certification in engineering or a related field
• Good understanding and experience of semiconductor processes (frontend and/or backend)
• Ability to work on 12-hour rotating shifts
• Preferred: exposure to semiconductor manufacturing environments
