Process Technician

About the role

Evonik Methionine SEA Pte. Ltd. is hiring a Process Technician to work alongside a team in an ultra-modern, innovative and creative environment. The role involves operating production equipment, monitoring instruments and assisting with loading and unloading, with intensive on-the-job training so that duties can be performed independently.

Key responsibilities

• Operate equipment in the production systems, prepare solutions, monitor measuring instruments and equipment, and assist with loading and unloading operations.
• Carry out cleaning, maintenance and minor repair work in the production systems.
• Participate in and respond to the emergency response team.
• Assist the maintenance team in plant repairs.

Required profile

• Diploma in Chemical Process Engineering or NITEC in Chemical Process Technology.
• Experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry is advantageous.
• Willingness to work in Jurong Island and perform 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
