Procurement Specialist

About the role

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join its team in Singapore. The role supports engine production by managing purchases, vendor coordination and inventory levels, and works closely with the SIOP team.

Key responsibilities

• Issue purchase orders and respond to open orders
• Input material shortages into the Pacer system and track order availability, shortages and deliveries with vendors
• Identify, evaluate and propose material solutions, coordinating with the SIOP team to support the production plan
• Drive supplier performance reviews to improve cost, quality, delivery and support services
• Ensure material fulfillment for engine production and keep inventory at an optimal level by optimising active WIP and monitoring aging finished goods and WIP
• Review parts usage analysis and act on it to keep stock at the right level (ROP/ROL)
• Liaise with vendors on defective parts and resolve them through DR reports

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or a related field
• At least 1-2 years of procurement experience in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
• Strong analytical skills for problem solving, proposal preparation and negotiation
• Good communication and organisational skills in a cross-functional, international environment
• Team player with high performance standards
• An advantage: experience in aerospace or defence industries
