Procurement Specialist – Singapore

About the role

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support engine production in Singapore. You will manage purchase orders, monitor material availability, and work closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery of critical components.

Key responsibilities

• Issue purchase orders and manage open orders.
• Enter material shortages into the Pacer System.
• Track order availability, shortages, and delivery status with vendors.
• Identify and propose material solutions, coordinating with the SIOP team to support the production plan.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews to achieve target cost, quality, delivery, and support levels.
• Maintain optimal inventory by optimizing active WIP and monitoring aging finished goods/WIP.
• Analyze parts usage and implement action plans to keep stock aligned with current trends (ROP/ROL).
• Liaise with vendors on defective parts and drive resolution.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or related field.
• 1‑2 years of procurement experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and organizational skills for cross‑functional, international collaboration.
• Team‑player with high performance standards.
