Product Controller Analyst – Currencies & Emerging Markets

About the role

As a Product Controller Analyst in the Currencies & Emerging Markets team, you will safeguard financial integrity and support business growth by delivering accurate profit & loss, risk and balance‑sheet reporting. You will work closely with traders, desk heads and global finance partners to ensure compliance with US GAAP and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily T+1 trader profit & loss and risk reports at the trader/desk level.
• Validate US GAAP general‑ledger entries and support external regulatory filings.
• Apply and calculate risk‑weighted asset (RWA) policies.
• Provide detailed financial analysis to desk heads, business managers and senior finance leadership.
• Partner with Financial Control, Valuation Control, Market Risk and Legal Entity Controllers to implement robust controls and new initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
• Minimum three years of experience in profit & loss, month‑end close, product control, financial control, accounting or audit.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and a control‑oriented approach.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across functions.

Required skills

• US GAAP financial reporting.
• Knowledge of financial products such as FX, bonds and derivatives.
• Risk‑weighted asset (RWA) methodology.
