Product Controller – Vice President, Finance (Singapore)

About the role

Nomura is seeking a seasoned Product Controller to join its Rates and Treasury Global Markets Operations team in Singapore. The role focuses on controlling and governing Fixed Income P&L, with a primary emphasis on Rates, Treasury, and Corporate portfolios across multiple legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Control and governance of Fixed Income related P&L, including Rates, Treasury, Corporate, FX, and BRM across 20 legal entities.
• Identify control gaps, propose strategic solutions, and ensure accurate daily revenue calculation and reporting.
• Execute month‑end procedures, including Balance Sheet substantiation.
• Collaborate with Treasury Funding, Operations, Quant, and other functions to resolve booking, attribution, accounting, and valuation queries.
• Handle structured issuance, treasury charge, and bespoke transaction issues, providing ad‑hoc P&L and Balance Sheet support.
• Support issuance and funding booking models for structured notes and financing transactions.
• Drive process re‑engineering, automation, and digital tool adoption to improve efficiency and best practices.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in product control or market risk within investment banking or a large financial services firm.
