Product Manager, Tax & Payout (Money Platform)

About the role

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the development of a tax operations platform that supports TikTok creator and merchant monetisation. The role focuses on designing backend tools that enable tax specialists to manage tax calculations, invoice generation, rate maintenance and related APIs in a self‑serve, auditable manner.

Key responsibilities

• Design and productise backend capabilities for tax specialists, including tax rate maintenance, rule configuration, API management, invoice template setup and generation.
• Build mechanisms for access control, approval workflows, change logs, versioning and audit trails to ensure traceable tax configuration changes.
• Develop and maintain unified tax rate data tables covering country, business type, transaction scenario, legal entity, tax category, rate and effective date, with validation, versioning and alerting.
• Own the product design for tax‑related APIs (calculation, filing, identity, invoice generation, certificates) and define requirements for inputs, outputs and invocation management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product management for financial or tax‑related platforms.
• Strong understanding of international payments, settlement, payout, currency handling and legal entity structures.
• Ability to translate complex tax requirements into scalable, configurable platform solutions.
