Product Marketing Manager - ECI Division

About the role

KLA's Semiconductor Products and Customers (Semi PC) business unit designs, builds and sells products that help chip manufacturers meet quality standards for technologies such as AI, data centers, automotive and electronic devices. Its ECI Division delivers chemical metrology and process control solutions for wet process steps in semiconductor and advanced packaging manufacturing. As Product Marketing Manager, you will define market requirements, product strategy and positioning, and act as a point of contact between customers and the division.

Key responsibilities

• Develop market requirements for products or product lines in the ECI division, including product strategy, market research, competitive monitoring, customer needs and pricing
• Develop business and product marketing plans, manage product life cycles and own product positioning and customer engagement from penetration to adoption
• Work with engineering, manufacturing and sales to improve existing products and lead new product definition and business plans
• Own business objectives for certain regions or accounts, support pre-sales and after-sales projects, and present products to key customers
• Define production penetration and adoption strategies for specific accounts with regional teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or related fields
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in product marketing or an application/process engineering team is preferred
• Willingness to travel 30-40% of the time

Required skills

• Semiconductor or packaging cleanroom/fab process knowledge
• Knowledge of ECD (electrochemical deposition) and/or wet etch/clean processes is a plus
• Knowledge of chemical metrology is a plus
• Technical presentations, executive summaries, market analysis, strategic planning and new product definition
• Strong communication, analytical and project-driving skills, attention to detail and teamwork
