Production Control and Planning

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Production Control and Planning professional to manage material flow, inventory, and process control for semiconductor manufacturing in Singapore. The role supports engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure timely material availability and accurate planning.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain Oracle work order release schedule and perform rescheduling of discrete jobs.
• Conduct pre‑shortage analysis, work order variance analysis, and review MRP execution for supply‑demand reconciliation.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), including status reporting.
• Participate in floor audits, resolve WIP issues, and attend production meetings to report material shortage commitments.
• Analyze inventory usage, order parts to meet service levels, and handle obsolete inventory.
• Support root‑cause identification and corrective actions from PCI reporting and drive cycle‑counting activities.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a clean‑room environment and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, lift and work in noisy conditions.
• Strong analytical skills for variance analysis, shortage forecasting, and system audits.
