Production Control and Planning

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Production Control and Planning professional to ensure timely material delivery and accurate inventory management for its semiconductor manufacturing operations in Singapore. You will work closely with engineering, finance and shop‑floor teams to maintain MRP integrity and support special engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain SAP work order release schedule, reschedule jobs as needed and perform pre‑shortage analysis to increase component availability.
• Review MRP execution, reconcile supply and demand, validate master scheduling and manage Engineering Change Orders.
• Participate in floor audits, resolve WIP issues, and provide status updates on material shortages during production meetings.
• Analyze usage data, manage inventory levels, forecast spare‑part needs and handle obsolete inventory.
• Lead data‑analysis projects, perform statistical and data‑mining tasks, and create visualisations using Tableau, Python or SQL.
