Production Control and Planning

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Production Control and Planning professional to manage production, inventory, and material resources planning (MRP) activities, ensuring timely material delivery to manufacturing and engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain SAP work order release schedule and perform rescheduling of discrete jobs.
• Conduct pre‑shortage analysis, work order variance analysis, and review MRP execution for accuracy.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and provide status reports.
• Participate in floor audits, resolve WIP issues, and attend production meetings.
• Analyze usage data, forecast spare parts, and manage inventory levels, including obsolete inventory.
• Support process control through root‑cause analysis and cycle counting.
• Lead data analysis projects, perform statistical analysis, and create visualizations using Tableau, Python, or SQL.

Required profile

• Experience with production control, inventory management, and MRP systems.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
