Production Control Executive - Aerospace MRO

About the role

Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, is hiring a Production Control Executive in Singapore. The role covers the scheduling and control of repair jobs, coordination with shop and supply departments, and tracking of costs and turnaround times.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the overall repair schedule for jobs.
• Coordinate between departments to ensure a smooth flow of repair procedures and internal processes.
• Check and follow up on purchase and sub-con parts.
• Load, print and release route cards to the shop.
• Track the job schedule so the shop completes repairs within customer expectations.
• Close jobs in the ERP system and ensure material and labour costs are accounted for.
• Analyse job costs and give feedback to the team on discrepancies in material, labour cost and gross profit margin.
• Manage and control inventory.
• Understand the repair process and expedite jobs to meet customer requirements.
• Take part in ad-hoc projects and other duties as required.
• Manage and track turnaround time (TAT) and day in house (DIH).

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of production scheduling experience in an aerospace MRO environment.
• Good work attitude and team player.
• Good communication skills and strong problem-solving ability.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP.
• Able to use Microsoft Office software.
• Use of computer tools.
