Programmes Team Manager (EPD)

About the role

This role sits within the EPD Programmes Team and supports the end-to-end delivery of traineeship programmes such as the GRaduate Industry Traineeships (GRIT) and the Mid-Career Pathway programme, as well as others as required. It covers programme operations, budget management reporting and performance management, and stakeholder and partner engagement to deliver attachment and placement programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Programme operations and budget management: maintain and update monthly programme tracking, review budget projections from partners and flag anomalies, manage monthly drawdown requests and track programme savings, and support budget reviews and funding approval materials
• Data analysis and performance management: validate data submissions from partners, turn data into charts, give updates for management meetings, respond to data requests and support monitoring of corporate KPIs on placements and employment outcomes
• Stakeholder and partner engagement: coordinate with government agencies and partners, prepare discussion materials, and run engagement sessions to share programme information and gather interest

Required profile

• Relevant experience in programme management, operations or a related field is advantageous; fresh graduates and early-career professionals are welcome
• Understanding of programme management processes and reporting
• Ability to prepare clear, accurate materials for management reporting and stakeholder communication
• Detail-oriented, with good analytical and organisational skills, and proactive team player
