Project Manager – Asset Enhancement (Renovation)

About the role

Shangri-La International Hotel Management is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead renovation and asset‑enhancement projects across its hotel portfolio. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end execution of renovation and AEI works, ensuring compliance with approved scope, cost, schedule, and quality.
• Oversee daily performance of contractors, consultants, and vendors, enforcing contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with end‑users, operators, consultants, authorities, and corporate teams to manage expectations and reduce operational impact.
• Review and approve contractor submissions, shop drawings, and proposals in collaboration with design consultants.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify safety, drawing compliance, and specification adherence.
• Monitor progress, produce status reports, identify risks, and recommend mitigation actions.
• Issue site instructions, change orders, and variation orders following established procedures.
• Certify progress payments and contractor claims based on actual site progress.
• Manage project close‑out activities, including snagging, testing & commissioning, handover, and documentation (as‑built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties).

Required profile

• Degree in Construction, Architecture, Engineering or a related field (professional certifications a plus).
• 8–12 years of construction/project management experience, preferably in fit‑out, renovation or refurbishment projects.
• Proven track record delivering projects in live environments such as hotels, retail or commercial spaces.
• Strong technical knowledge of interior fit‑out and construction execution.
