Project Officer – Behavioural Sciences & Public Health

About the role

The Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at NTU is seeking a Project Officer to support its research programmes in behavioural sciences, public health, communication and psychology. The role combines administrative coordination with hands‑on research activities, ensuring projects run smoothly from inception to dissemination.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement research studies, including literature reviews, data collection and analysis.
• Conduct both qualitative and quantitative research and interpret findings.
• Secure ethics approvals, manage grant operations and contribute to academic publications and reports.
• Organise and facilitate project meetings, workshops and events.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners, including third‑party service providers.
• Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and promote research impact through presentations and media engagement.
• Perform daily administrative and logistical tasks related to research projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioural sciences, public health, communication, psychology or a related field.
• Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research methods and tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in academic publishing or research grant administration is desirable.
