Project Officer – Cell & Molecular Biology

About the role
Join the laboratory of A/P Tan Suet Mien at the School of Biological Sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore as a Project Officer. You will contribute to a project investigating how kindlins regulate cellular processes using advanced cell and molecular biology techniques.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct mammalian cell‑culture experiments.
- Perform molecular and cellular biology techniques.
- Carry out protein expression and purification.
- Conduct microscopy and flow‑cytometry analyses.
- Perform bio‑layer interferometry (BLI) assays.
- Assist with data analysis, documentation, and general laboratory activities.
Required profile
- BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences.
- Demonstrated research laboratory experience.
- Experience with cell culture, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, and protein expression/purification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- At least one first‑author publication in a peer‑reviewed journal.
