Protocol Manager – Gardens by the Bay

About the role

As the Protocol Manager at Gardens by the Bay, you will be the central point of coordination for official visits, VIP engagements and high‑profile events. You will ensure that every distinguished guest experiences the Gardens at its best, while upholding the organisation’s standards and image.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute official visits, VIP engagements and high‑profile events from pre‑visit liaison to on‑day delivery.
• Act as the primary liaison between internal functional teams and external stakeholders, aligning requirements and advising on protocol application.
• Maintain visit schedules, records and trackers; prepare reports to keep all parties informed.
• Support frontline operations across key attractions and the Garden Cruiser, and assist the Guest Experience team with feedback, queries and service recovery.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in guest‑facing roles, event management or protocol coordination.
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple visits and stakeholders under tight timelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident engaging VIPs and senior partners.
• Composed, adaptable team player who can navigate high‑pressure or ambiguous situations.
• Willingness to work shift patterns as required.
