Psychological Medicine Specialist

About the role

The Department of Psychological Medicine at CGH is looking for qualified medical professionals to join our team as Psychological Medicine Specialists. This position involves a blend of clinical practice, teaching, research, and administrative responsibilities within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform clinical and administrative duties related to psychological medicine.
• Teach and supervise junior doctors in the department.
• Engage in research activities and contribute to scholarly work.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the Head of Division.

Required profile

• Possess a basic medical degree and a postgraduate medical qualification registrable with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC).
• Hold specialty training recognised by the Specialists Accreditation Board (SAB) in Singapore.
• Provide documentary evidence of specialist training and registration from the country of origin and the relevant licensing body.
• Preferably have working experience in the country of origin as an accredited and licensed medical specialist.
• Meet additional criteria stipulated by the SMC for Conditional Medical Registration.
• Fulfil English language proficiency requirements if the basic medical qualification was not taught in English.
• Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 under the National Vaccination Programme.
