QA/QC Manager

About the role

The QA/QC Manager will lead and oversee all quality assurance and control activities for a large‑scale hospital construction project. This role ensures that all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, Singapore standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, implement and maintain the project Quality Management System and develop Quality Plans, ITPs and Method Statements.
• Coordinate inspection and testing activities with consultants, clients, subcontractors and authorities, and approve related documentation.
• Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance, manage NCRs, CARs and preventive actions, and conduct regular site inspections and audits.
• Review laboratory test results, material certifications and ensure use of approved materials on site.
• Prepare and submit periodic quality reports, support internal and external audits, and lead the compilation of handover documentation.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience in construction, preferably on large‑scale building or hospital projects.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Standards, building codes and ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Proven ability to lead QA/QC teams, manage subcontractors and handle tight project deadlines.
