QC Manager – Quality Control Lead

About the role

We are seeking a QC Manager to lead the Quality Control function at Vitablend’s Singapore site. The role ensures raw materials, semi‑finished and finished products are tested, reviewed and released on time, meeting internal standards, customer requirements and FSSC 22000 food‑safety expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the local QC team and act as the primary governance owner for QC activities.
• Oversee testing, result review and release of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring production continuity.
• Handle routine in‑spec releases consistently and coordinate non‑routine cases with stakeholders.
• Escalate borderline results, abnormalities, OOS situations and customer‑specific requirements.
• Collaborate with QA, Production, Supply Chain, Customer Service, NPD and HQ Quality on release decisions.
• Maintain documentation, escalation rules and audit‑ready records.
• Support the site’s food‑safety management system (FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP) and promote a quality mindset.
• Manage day‑to‑day laboratory operations, sample flow, testing priorities and external lab coordination.
• Monitor QC turnaround time, identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a QC function in a food‑manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP and related regulatory expectations.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with QA, Production, Supply Chain and HQ Quality.
• Experience handling deviations, OOS investigations and customer‑specific release requirements.
