QC Specialist – Electronic Components (West Area)

About the role

We are looking for a QC Specialist to join our West Area team, focusing on electronic components for a multinational corporation. The role involves performing detailed inspections and tests to ensure component authenticity and compliance with specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections of components using microscopes and the naked eye.
• Perform alcohol swipe and scrape tests to detect black‑topped parts.
• Identify red‑flag indicators of suspect or counterfeit parts.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as XRF, X‑ray, microscopy, decapsulation, solderability testers, curve tracers and C‑SAM.
• Document inspection processes and upload results into proprietary systems.
• Prepare detailed test reports in line with industry standards and customer testing plans.
• Support laboratory method development and update work instructions.
• Coordinate third‑party calibration and testing services.
• Assist with ISO 17025 accreditation tasks and customer audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in component or product inspection, testing, and counterfeit detection.
• Familiarity with ESD controls and ISO 17025 laboratory systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the electronics distribution industry.
