Quality Assurance Executive

About the role

The Quality Assurance Executive will support Brenntag’s commitment to product and service excellence by maintaining and continuously improving the Quality Management System (QMS). You will act as a key liaison during internal and external audits and help ensure compliance with a range of regulatory and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain QMS documentation (Quality Manual, procedures, work instructions) and ensure compliance with customer requirements, internal guidelines, ISO 9001 and pharma standards.
• Monitor, review and improve internal processes and quality metrics such as CCAR, SCAR and operational close rates.
• Support implementation and maintenance of ISO certifications, ISCC sustainability standards, and GDP/GMP protocols.
• Lead root‑cause investigations for non‑conformances arising from customer complaints or internal quality issues.
• Maintain Halal and Kosher certifications and address regulatory inquiries (RoHS, REACH, etc.) in coordination with Purchasing and Product Management.
• Serve as primary contact during external audits conducted by customers, suppliers and certification bodies.
• Assist the QA/QC Assistant Manager with corporate projects and other assignments from Management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within chemical or manufacturing environments (fresh graduates with strong willingness to learn are also welcome).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with chemical regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
