Quality Assurance Technician

About the role

The Quality Assurance Technician ensures that product builds meet all specifications, customer expectations, and internal quality standards. Working primarily in a clean‑room environment, the role involves independent inspection, data management, and coordination of corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct random, scheduled and unscheduled audits to verify conformance to customer specifications, technical drawings, assembly manuals and internal processes.
• Perform root‑cause analyses on material returns, reviewing documentation and interviewing staff to identify defects or process breakdowns.
• Maintain detailed logs on data quality, returned material, supplier information, non‑conformances and findings for trend analysis.
• Prepare and submit product return documentation to suppliers for failure analysis and monitor corrective‑action responses.
• Assist in developing and maintaining ISO system documentation, including work instructions and departmental policies.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of relevant quality assurance experience.
• High school diploma; background in electronics or IT hardware preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to attendance and punctuality standards.

Required skills

• A+ certification.
• IPC certification.
