Quality Control Internship, Singapore (March-August 2027)

About the role

GSK is offering a Quality Control internship in Singapore from March 2027 to August 2027. It is aimed at current students of a local polytechnic diploma, preferably in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Applied Science or Chemical Engineering, who want hands-on experience in a biopharma setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage documents: archive them properly and summarise and tabulate them in specific logs
• Understand work orders (WoWs) in QC and perform data tabulation
• Perform QC operations such as logistics, reagent preparation, EM sampling and laboratory testing
• Maintain a clean work area (6S and good housekeeping) and ensure good inventory of QC materials
• Contribute to area continuous improvement
• Follow all safety and security policies and practices

Required profile

• Diploma student enrolled in an accredited local polytechnic, preferably in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Applied Science or Chemical Engineering
• Enrolled at the polytechnic for the full duration of the internship and doing a credit-bearing internship
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Lively interest in quality control, the commercial world and the biopharma industry
• Team player with good communication, problem-solving and prioritisation skills

Required skills

• Experience using Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
