Quantitative Trader - Crypto Delta One

About the role

BlockTech is hiring a Quantitative Trader for its Singapore trading floor. You will own positions and PnL end-to-end, from reading live market flow and liquidity through tuning and intervening in automated systems, to shaping the next generation of execution logic and trading tools. You will work alongside Quantitative Researchers, Quantitative Developers and Software Engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor D1 positions across multiple venues, owning their PnL and risk
• Read live market flow, liquidity conditions and market events and turn them into trading and execution decisions
• Tune and parameterise automated and semi-automated systems, stepping in to manage risk or capture opportunities
• Improve execution quality and market-making performance through data-driven analysis of strategy behaviour
• Design and specify the trading tools, dashboards and analytics used by the desk
• Work with researchers, developers and engineers to sharpen models, infrastructure and execution logic, and shape the roadmap for new trading initiatives

Required profile

• 3+ years as a Quantitative Trader and/or Quantitative Researcher in a professional trading environment, with demonstrated PnL responsibility on linear (D1) products across multiple venues
• Hands-on experience operating automated and semi-automated trading systems under live conditions
• Strong analytical instincts and a deep, intuitive grasp of market microstructure
• Ownership mindset, proactive and accountable, with clear written and verbal English
• Nice to have: exposure to systematic HFT and MFT strategies, ideally in Crypto D1 markets

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python for analysis, tooling and interaction with trading systems
• Experience monitoring, tuning and intervening in live trading systems
