Quantity Surveyor – Entry Level

About the role

We are looking for an entry‑level Quantity Surveyor to join our structural steel engineering team in Tuas, Singapore. The role involves supporting the commercial side of construction projects, from cost estimation to contract administration.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, quotations and tender submissions.
• Review tender documents, drawings and specifications.
• Carry out quantity take‑offs and cost analysis.
• Assess quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare progress claims, payment responses and final accounts.
• Manage variation orders, contract administration and project cost control.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams on contractual and commercial matters.
• Monitor project budgets, costs and cash flow.
• Maintain accurate project documents and commercial records.
• Support procurement of materials and subcontractors when required.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Fresh/entry‑level candidates are welcome; experience in structural steel, steel fabrication or construction is an advantage.
• Familiarity with construction contracts, quantity take‑offs, cost estimation and progress claims.
• Ability to read and understand engineering and construction drawings.
