R&D Scientist (Analytical Methods)

Key responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert for the development, validation, implementation and ongoing management of analytical, physical and/or microbiological test methods.
• Manage and maintain the lifecycle of test methods to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
• Develop, draft and lead the execution of method validation, verification and/or transfer protocols and datasheets within project timelines.
• Work with global testing teams on new products, process problems, failure analysis, customer complaints and intellectual property.
• Provide guidance, coaching and training as required.
• Oversee stability and performance testing of formulated products, including developing and updating test methods and reviewing external regulatory standards.
• Review, verify and approve records and documents to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Champion continuous improvement in the laboratory and collaborate with scientists and product developers on test plans.
• Document work and publish formal technical reports, protect internally developed methods through patents and trade secrets, and comply with lab safety rules.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related field; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• 2-4 years of analytical experience in liquid/gas chromatography and mass spectrometry, including UPLC, HPLC, GC and GCMS.
• Experience applying methods in the area of USP <51> and USP <61>.
• Local candidates only; no relocation support provided.
